Most liberals are in the streets rioting right now, and the extreme violence of the anti-trump protests (100% of the protests in the news that I’ve seen have resulted in violence), which is the highest percentage of violence in the history of protests, is proof that liberalism is a a violent movement.

Your exception doesn’t prove the rule. The extreme violence that I’ve seen is all the proof I need that liberalism is a dangerously violent philosophy that needs to be stopped.

> Did anyone incite violence at these anti-Trump protests? Was there violent language being used? Or did the violence actually develop organically without any prodding or encouragement from the organizers of the protest?

Didn’t matter to you before, so doesn’t matter now.

Well 100% of the news that _I’ve_ seen about conservatives says that they’re all goat-felching krokodil junkies, so that must be proof that all conservatives are a bunch of drug addicted zoophile, right?

Wow, I guess I must be justified in thinking that every single last conservative is a goat-felching zoophile.

Are you just a parody of a conservative poster, or are you a drug addicted zoophile?

What should we do? Lock them in camps? How should we stop them?

Wait, on edit, I know! Let’s deport them; they aren’t Americans anyway, right EE?

The former, I think. Or rather, a parody of a Damuri Ajashi poster.

He is applying the same brush to liberals that DA applies to the BLM.

As I think EE is on the liberal side himself, I think that it’s a fair parody.

I could be wrong, and if so, look out goats!

No, its proof that the anti-trump movement is a violent movement.

> [@](#):
>
> Your exception doesn’t prove the rule. The extreme violence that I’ve seen is all the proof I need that liberalism is a dangerously violent philosophy that needs to be stopped.

Liberalism predates anti-Trump riots by centuries. Liberalism is not a movement.

Some of BLM’s very first protests and some of BLM’s most recent protests have been violent.

BLM is a violent movement.

Anti-Trump protests have been violent. The current Anti-Trump movement is a violent movement.

> [@](#):

Wait, are you saying that I never pointed to the inciteful things being said during the BLM demonstrations as evidence that BLM was a violent movement?

> [@k9bfriender](#):

Yes he is clearly trying to excuse the violence of the BLM movement by saying that the anti-trump riots are evidence of the violence of liberalism generally. There is no generalizing necessary to label BLM violent. It is BLM demonstrations that devolve into riots and looting.

> [@](#):
>
> He is applying the same brush to liberals that DA applies to the BLM.

But its not liberals that are rioting. If I was applying the same broad brush then I would look at BLM riots and blame all of liberalism but I don’t. BLM is a discrete movement built on violent and anarchy.

> [@](#):
>
> As I think EE is on the liberal side himself, I think that it’s a fair parody.

How is it a fair parody? You can analogize BLM riots to anti-trump riots but if you expand the generalization to the level of political philosophy, then you wouldn’t need the anti-trump riots to call liberalism a violent philosophy, you could just look at BLM and say that liberalism is a violent philosophy.

> [@](#):
>
> I could be wrong, and if so, look out goats!

I don’t think you’re wrong about the parody but you’re wrong about the fairness of the parody. the assumed analogy doesn’t work.

In what way do I ever imply that we should lock up all BLM protesters?

If you are only referring to the actually violet anti-trump protesters, then i agree we should lock them up. Just like we should lock up violent BLM protesters.

This guy was unarmed. Took down a deputy who was known for de-escalating. A passer-by had to shoot the assailant. Assailant’s family objects to the shooting of their unarmed relative.

First, why did you use the word “family” to describe one person?

Second, what part of this do you think is controversial?
