If that had happened to a black guy accused of killing a cop, there would (rightfully) be a fucking outcry here. Is the guy a murderer? Probably. But “probably” means “not guilty”. ---

They kept trying him until they got a verdict. Full stop. A hung jury is not a verdict here. Never has been and hopefully never will be. ---
