here i am at my girlfriend’s house, lying in her bed while she is soundly asleep, with my laptop with a 17 inch screen on her nightstand, typing with my right hand only because my left arm is resting on a pillow. that’s why no capitalization. this is so convenient. technology is awesome. ---

It’s true, I don’t have a better idea. But then, with certain exceptions, bed isn’t a place of activity for me - I don’t eat, read, surf or work in bed - it’s just the place I collapse into when I’ve reached the point at which I can no longer do those things, through tiredness or necessity. ---

see it’a all well and good until the cat wants to sit on your chest, then the phone rings and freaks out cat who scratches the hell out of your chest and knocks over your water glass on the bedside table and makes the lamp crash down and wakes up your girlfriend who frowns at you and gets up to put on her long nightgown and tells you to go to surf in the other room. ---

So do you have the computer positioned open and sideways on the bed while you lay there with your head sideways on the pillow, and connected via wireless to the house gateway? I’ve been known to do that. 🙂 And I just may be working on the girlfriend part. 😃 ---
