# Convert color pdf to B&W

I have a pfd file which was created by scanning a large document. Unfortrunately, as the scanner detected a yellow sticker and red library stamp on the titile page the scanner defaulted to color tiff output and the intern who scanned it scanned the **entire thing** in color. Is there an easy way to convert it to a smaller B+W .pdf?

I tried printing to file from Acrobat reader and also tried printing to PDFCreator-I tried changing the settings on PDFCreator to Black and white but the output is always in color.
