The title says it all. I need a way to convert Windows Media Audio (WMA) files to MP3 on my Mac. Apologies if this has been asked before, but I searched and couldn’t find it.

I haven’t tried it, but Versiontracker suggests [EasyWMA.](http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/23003)

If you can play a sound file but can’t find a way to convert it, you can use [WireTap](http://www.ambrosiasw.com/utilities/freebies/) to record the sound as it plays out and iTunes to convert the resulting AIFF file to MP3 format. I’ve found this useful on many occasions.
