> Yup, pretty rusty. The story is about Lot offering his daughters to the crowd of Sodomites who asked him to send out to them the “men” who were guests in Lot’s house. Apparently neither the Sodomites nor Lot knew that the “men” were angels. The Sodomites did not rape or kill anyone, as the angels struck them blind. The story is in Genesis.

Go back to Judges chapter 19. The Levite, his concubine, the city of Gibiah, and the Tribe of Benjamin.

**[Road Rash** is not so rusty after all…

Whenever someone is depressed, I reccommend to them reading and applying Genesis 2:25.

(Look it up)

One church I went to had 1 Corinthians 15:51 posted on the door to the nursery:

_“We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed.”_

“Prove all things, hold fast that which is good.”
1Thessalonians 5:21

I still have that up on the wardrobe door, after ten years. I’m not religious, but that is a good line.

I forgot two more.

The story of **Eutychus** :

> [@](#):
>
> _Acts 20:7-12 (NIV)_
>
> 7On the first day of the week we came together to break bread. Paul spoke to the people and, because he intended to leave the next day, kept on talking until midnight. 8There were many lamps in the upstairs room where we were meeting. 9Seated in a window was a young man named Eutychus, who was sinking into a deep sleep as Paul talked on and on. When he was sound asleep, he fell to the ground from the third story and was picked up dead. 10Paul went down, threw himself on the young man and put his arms around him. “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “He’s alive!” 11Then he went upstairs again and broke bread and ate. After talking until daylight, he left. 12The people took the young man home alive and were greatly comforted.

The defeat of Og, king of Bashan:

> [@](#):
>
> _Deuteronomy 3:1-11 (NIV)_
> 1 Next we turned and went up along the road toward Bashan, and Og king of Bashan with his whole army marched out to meet us in battle at Edrei. 2 The LORD said to me, “Do not be afraid of him, for I have handed him over to you with his whole army and his land. Do to him what you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon.”
> 3 So the LORD our God also gave into our hands Og king of Bashan and all his army. We struck them down, leaving no survivors. 4 At that time we took all his cities. There was not one of the sixty cities that we did not take from them-the whole region of Argob, Og’s kingdom in Bashan. 5 All these cities were fortified with high walls and with gates and bars, and there were also a great many unwalled villages. 6 We completely destroyed them, as we had done with Sihon king of Heshbon, destroying every city-men, women and children. 7 But all the livestock and the plunder from their cities we carried off for ourselves.
> 8 So at that time we took from these two kings of the Amorites the territory east of the Jordan, from the Arnon Gorge as far as Mount Hermon. 9 (Hermon is called Sirion by the Sidonians; the Amorites call it Senir.) 10 We took all the towns on the plateau, and all Gilead, and all Bashan as far as Salecah and Edrei, towns of Og’s kingdom in Bashan. 11 (Only Og king of Bashan was left of the remnant of the Rephaites. His bed was made of iron and was more than thirteen feet long and six feet wide. It is still in Rabbah of the Ammonites.)

Revelation 2:23 (KJV) “And I will kill her children with death . . .”

Kill them with death. _With death._

I find that funny. Like we couldn’t find another word or another way of killing, like axes or hamburgers or lawn gnomes or something.
