You may have seen these clips already, but I discovered them recently and thought they were incredibly neat. Canadian Astronaut Chris Hadfield just finished a five month tour of duty in the Space station and he loaded up all sorts of neat clips of activities inside the space station and science experiments in zero-gravity.

Here is an experiment: what happens when you wet a towel in space and then wring it out? (Don’t look yet, think about it first. What would happen to the water? Thought about it? [Now look](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMaZeKiQEgo).)

That clip leads to many others. But this one has gone viral: [Chris playing on guitar, and singing Bowie’s song "Space Oddity](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=poZCINzxzrQ) (“Can you hear me major Tom?”) with zero gravity taking care of the special effects. It is not badly sung, either.

Coolness.
