I really want a cool desktop like [this one,](http://www.fvwm.org/screenshots/desktops/Pierre-Eric_Marchandet-1600x1200/screenshot.jpg) but the program that the person used to get that seems pretty confusing so I’d like to avoid that. At the moment my desktop looks like [this,](http://community.webshots.com/myphotos?action=showPhoto&albumID=337645722&photoID=431737227&security=SAIBSM) which is OK but not cool enough! Any ideas of what programs to use and if anybody has a cool desktop they would like to share, please go ahead. 🙂 ---

It worked? When I tried it, it told me I was forbidden. 😕 I got it from [ThemeXP.org](http://ThemeXP.org), the wallpapers are [here.](http://www.themexp.org/listings.php?type=wp&view=date) They have loads so you should find one you like. ---

I believe what you are after is skins - themes that change all your Windows icons. Try [customize](http://www.customize.org/) or [alienware](http://www.alienware.com/intro_pages/darkstar.aspx) ---
