# Cool iPhone Apps

The spouse and I recently got refurbished iPhones and a lot of our playtime has been spent looking for cool apps to download. For example, he just got a police radio scanner and I went in for learning how to perform better yoga. We’re easily entertained like that. 😛
So, what have you come across that you really like or what would you heartily recommend?

Shazam. Listens to a song and tells you what the song and artist are.
Pandora radio, Catchamouse, Fluid (cool zen-like app), icanhascheeseburger, just fillin’, Labyrinth LE (fun motion sensing game), touch Physics, WikiPanion. Those are just a few off the top of my head that are fun, and free. Enjoy!

The best apps, IMHO, are really the ones that are available after you jailbreak your iPhone.

I also have Pandora, Shazam, I Can Has Cheezeburger and Wikipanion. I also like the Accu weather because it gives the barometric pressure so I can keep track of how it affects my sinus problems. For games, I like Stone Loops. I also use the Fandango app for movie info and “What’s On?” for TV listings, I use the a lot. What’s On had a recent upgrade which made it even better. I also have an app for Sparkpeople so I can input my food eaten and track my calories. I have the Handy Level which I actually got to use recently. Oh yeah, and the lightsaber app which makes lightsaber noises when you wave you phone around.
I haven’t bought an app yet, I just look for the free ones.

Yes. I have the first iphone. I still love it and will not replace it unless they come up with something that my jailbreak can’t get. I thought video was it. I thought I was gonna have to buckle and get the new phone.
Nope! Cydia gave me a free video download, so now I have video. Gotta love it!

Well now I see I’ll have to jailbreak my phone and I’ve already gotten several of the cool apps mentioned here. I particularly like Urbanspoon, What’s On? and Fluid, plus many more.
