I know I’ve seen links here before, but I’m having a bitch of a time when I try to search for them. Anybody got any recommendations for good t-shirt sites? Doesn’t matter to me if they’re offensive or not. Thanks! ---

[Threadless](http://www.threadless.com/). Customer-designed shirts (but not \*custom-\*designed shirts). Cool stuff. ---

I suggest [Pegasus Publishing](http://pegasuspublishing.com/). A disturbing (or possibly disturbed) percentage of my shirts are from Pegasus. Of course, you can’t beat [Café Press](http://www.cafepress.com/) for sheer variety. Just be prepared to search for or create what you want. ---

I have ordered from [cottonfactory.com](http://www.cottonfactory.com), but they were stolen off my porch (stupid neighbor. I saw him a few days later wearing the shirt, but they were moving out and I didn’t know his last name…grrrr…) Also, [Local Celebrity](http://www.localcelebrity.com) and [Palmercash.com](http://www.palmercash.com) are decent… Brendon Small ---

Another vote for Threadless - and they do limited enough runs of each shirt that you won’t see every last muthafucka wearing one when you go out in public. Although they’ve done multie re-printings of certain popular shirts to the point where I’ve had to retire a few that I got in on the ground floor on because (especially here in Chicago) you can’t go out in the summertime without running into 5 hipsters wearing the same one. ---

I’m also a big fan of [The Giant Peach](http://www.thegiantpeach.com) for more urban styles - they carry a lot of cool smaller designers and stuff, although lately they’ve incorporated more of these capital-d Designers with $50 t-shirts and stuff. ---

[Tcritic.com](http://tcritic.com/) is a blog that picks out what they consider the best among the internet tshirt companies. It’s showcased a lot of the sites above and I just tend to check it because it’s damned cool. ---

This is a good thread to ask this: Where could I find a “New York Herald Tribune” t-shirt like Jean Seberg wore in _Breathless?_ I saw it earlier this week. ---

[Preshrunk](http://preshrunk.info/) is a pretty cool t-shirt blog that has a fondness for cephlapods. [Etsy](http://www.etsy.com/search_results.php?search_type=tag_title&search_query=t-shirt) has a huge amount of unique designs and there’s probably someone who will make you a quality custom shirt. [Sikenomics](http://www.bluecollardistro.com/sikenomics/categories.php?cPath=78) is pretty sweet urban stuff. ---

count me in for tshirthell and threadless (how can you go wrong with the motto “nude no more!”?). [shirtsamok](http://www.shirtsamok.com) has a couple cool ones and a couple rude ones as well. ---

Jinxed Clothing in Philadelphia [http://www.jinxedclothing.com/](http://www.jinxedclothing.com/) I liked this T [http://www.jinxedclothing.com/askingforit.php](http://www.jinxedclothing.com/askingforit.php) so much that I replaced the old one with a new one. Who am i kidding? I have two cool shirts in different states of vintage. 🆒 ---

I saw one t-shirt that had a picture of California with the quote “California, long and hangs to the left.” on the street today. Anyone know where I could buy one of those? ---

I like Threadless, but I wish people would submit some simpler designs. A lot of them seem to think they have to make the Sistine Chapel on a shirt, or they’re just based on bad puns. [Next page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/cool-t-shirt-sites-recommendations/406392.md?page=2)
