The OICW is an overly large, heavy, cumbersome thing that requires you to carry more battery than ammo. The Pulse Rifle is a relatively svelte work of art that makes the coolest goddamned sound in the world. I guess if I carried an OICW and an boombox for audio reproduction, it would be passable… ---

The sandman’s Weapon from _Logan’s Run_. Not your stereotypical ray-gun. The effect was not added in post-production. The actor’s prop actually shot real flames. (OK, it was basically an oversized cigarette lighter, but it looked really cool.) ---

A bit large for a prop, but years ago the Franklin Institute in Phila. had the queen alien from Aliens on display. Holy crap, I want one. The ultimate prop for me would be Han Solo in carbonite to hang on my wall. I think Sharper Image had one for about six grand. (Boba did all that work for six grand??)
