Now that’s just crazy talk.

That BV 141 must have been a bitch to land.

Now, in my humble opinion, the coolest plane is the [Murphy Rebel](http://www.murphyair.com/murphyair/Aircraft/Rebel/Rebel.html).
Simply, because it’s the plane I want to one day build. It was co-designed by one of the designers of the DeHav Beaver, [Dick Hiscock](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murphy_Rebel), which just ups the “cool” factor by at least 11.
Its bigger, younger brother, the [Murphy Moose](http://www.murphyair.com/murphyair/Aircraft/Moose/Moose.html), is another kick-ass plane. It has a useful load of at least as much as its empty weight.
I’d just love to have one of these planes, to go to middle-of-nowhere lakes and catch some [monster pike](http://images.google.ca/images?hl=en&q=monster%20pike&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi)…
