Whats you nominees for “Coolest Website?” Something that hopefully other dopers may (or may not) be interested in. I will start it off by this one. This answers the age old question of “How destroyed would my corner of the world be by a Nuclear blast?” [http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/amex/bomb/sfeature/mapablast.html](http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/amex/bomb/sfeature/mapablast.html) Anyone else? ---

My current faves: 1. [http://www.hotornot.com](http://www.hotornot.com). A site shamelessly dedicated to those in need of self-verification… but addictive nonetheless. 2. [http://www.corona.bc.ca/films/main.html](http://www.corona.bc.ca/films/main.html). Corona’s Coming Attractions – about the best site I’ve ever seen regarding upcoming movies. 3. [http://www.emode.com](http://www.emode.com). Lots of interesting little personality tests. And of course… [boards.straightdope.com/sdmb](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb)😃 ---

[kaboom!](http://www.cyberstudio.com/eyecandy/quicktime/whale2.qt.mov) it’s a real jaw-dropper. It takes a while to load, but it’s worth it. ---

I love Flash. So for Flash development (content not taken into account at all), mine would have to be: [GaboCorp Studios](http://www.gabocorp.com) [Design Insites](http://www.designinsites.com) [Lookandfeel New Media](http://www.lookandfeel.com) Be sure to hover your mouse over the menus! [sub]Flash developers are SO sexy![/sub] ---

most certainly has to be “the last page of the internet” [http://home.att.net/~cecw/lastpage.htm](http://home.att.net/~cecw/lastpage.htm) This is the point where everyone gets up and goes outside, gets some fresh air into their lungs and then coughs uncontrollably due to the smog. So much for being healthy…I’m going back to my computer. ---

This one I got from this message board on an old discussion [Starwars X Startrek](http://www.stardestroyer.net/Empire.html) Great writing style and if you care to look deep enough it’s also pretty diverse. Now this is the first interactive music review page on the net. Mark Prindle’s got an amazing style that mixes toughtfull statements about music and bizarre obscenities he makes up. A classic [Prindle’s Reviews](http://www.geocities.com/markprindle/index.html) And this is my favorite George Starostin Reviews of Rock and Pop. George is a russian dude who has complete domain over English and uses his skills to keep pumping more and more long and intertaining reviews on a daily basis. All the above sites have some pretty nice links as well. Enjoy! ---

[Fade To Black](http://www.fadetoblack.com) has some great dark satire…including movie reviews by guys on death row, and “The Parking Lot Is Full”…relatively sick panel comic strip. [The Daily Radar.](http://www.dailyradar.com) Game reviews, showbiz news, tech news, and funny as hell “Direct Hit” features. [Mighty Big TV](http://www.mightybigtv.com). I know **andygirl** has been known to truck by there on occasion. Complete recaps of TV shows like “Buffy,” “ER,” “Dawson’s Creek” (which actually started the whole thing), “Survivor”…play-by-play recaps by people who really don’t seem to enjoy the shows they’re dissecting in loving detail. I know the entire plot line to date of “Dawson’s Creek,” but I’ve never actually watched an epidose of it in my life. Those are some of the ones I go to every day (along with The Straight Dope, natch). Without fail. ---

I feel compelled to mention The Brunching Shuttlecocks and the Lileks site. And of course the SDMB wouldn’t be the same without the Urban Legends Reference Pages to refer to on regular occasion. ---
