# Cop-speak: Code 930 "See the Man"

What does this code mean “See the man”? See what man? Where? Why?

A regular phrase from _Adam-12_. I always assumed it meant there was a person on the scene who had more detailed information.

But it’s also what I holler when I get out of the shower.

This usually means that someone has information (or possibly a complaint) for the responding officer. It’s a generic “someone would like to speak with you” code.

Not associated with anything specific circumstance or crime at all.
