Since there hasn’t been a thread on this yet: Tomorrow should have an epic semifinal of Brazil vs. Argentina. The other semifinal is Chile vs. Peru. You’ve got to figure that Messi and Co. would love nothing more to beat Brazil and Chile, but they must surely dread the idea of losing a final to Chile in the Copa America for the 3rd time in a row, especially if it’s a PK shootout.

Argentina hasn’t looked good in years and this is a very strong Brazil on paper, I’ll be very surprised if Brazil doesn’t win.
Argentina losing to Chile on pks in the final would be crazy, but there’s no Higuain to miss a sitter and really complete the circle.

This third place match is nuts. 2-0 Argentina with Aguero/Messi catching Chile napping and then a great Dybala goal. Then a double red card, which seems like a crazy overreaction to me.

Chile should have 2 straight reds for studs up tackles not including the phantom send offs earlier. At least one of these teams is going to end with 9.

As with many of your predictions, no, didn’t happen.
Argentina will have taken at least some satisfaction out of beating their cross-Andes rivals.

In terms of quality of play and excitement, this tournament compares poorly with the Womens World Cup. South American footie hasnt evolved. Its time for there to be a singlem16 team Copa de los Americas.
