**Blake** : When I wrote the OP I was angry and upset. I felt safe enough to vent here. I didn’t expect my venting to be critiqued or to have to defend my upset-venting. And yes, I read your whole critique of my post and no, I don’t have any rebuttals or answers. Because you’re right. All your points are valid. All I wanted to do was vent my anger and frustration and I figured The Pit would be the best place for it. ---

(Hidta Chicago area housing projects 1995-1997) I learned early on that you have to ignore a variety of other offfenses if you are involved in gathering intel on a more serious offense.. Scenario.. I’m in a project lobby.. abla homes West side Chicago.. Standing in line without a badge or gun to buy some rock.. Bangers sees the woman in front of me without her money in her right hand.. walks up to her and knocks the holy hell outta her. DO I?? Announce office and try to arrest ol boy..btw without a badge and gun..and they all had guns.. slip out to notify my backup.. wrecking everything for a simple battery arrest?? No ..you keep your mouth shut.. wait for your time to come and body slam him into a metal trash dumpster in the rear of building and give him a pumpkin head.. When you are assigned to a unit.. given a task.. the task comes first.. When you are on patrol and get a missing persons call.. u take a report.. forward it up.. if the missing is under 11.. things get activated.. if they are sad to say a 30yr something friend..You essentially don’t do much.. You don’t have the resources to handle that. Just.. think about the situation.. see the pivot points.. its easy to just make some assinine comment on the internet about cops letting somebody die. Trust me.. Cops fuck up enough (See Philadelphia victim Sabor sept 2010) ---

Also how weird that those same guys like to rape women and also supposedly sit around and eat donuts while waiting for other guys to rape women. Oh, wait. On closer inspection those stories are about totally different people in totally different scenarios. Anything else? ---

That was a graceful apology and you deserve to be acknowledged for it. It’s okay to be freaked out by a violent crime in your immediate vicinity, and it’s only human to be a bit irrational for a while. It’s admirable that you’ve gotten over your freakout and are willing to listen to other opinions, even if they’re presented somewhat hostilely. ---

Christopher was not being watched by Police…The Police in Guelph are too busy doing other things that require them to socialize with known drug dealers and harrassing innocent victims of crimes.
