Here’s a piece of advice: look up in the top right of a post & you’ll see a join date. **Vinyl Turnip** has triple the number of _years_ here that you have _months_. If I see someone has been here for a dozen years & has over “a thousand” (see what I did there) posts a year, that means they are an active (& probably knowledgeable) member of this board, which means that **VT** may know a little about another poster, like **Czarcasm**. Also, & maybe this is just me, but if I were to criticize someones use of English & they were to come back with **6** cites that it is correct use I’d STFU because I was just _owned_…badly. However, I won’t tell you that because that would be patronizing. ---

Not one of you has answered my question about the police response to the three girls fired-upon for suspicion of smoking something. Did the police act within reason in shooting their weapons in that incident ? Yes, no, or other ? Stop attacking me and answer the fucking question ! Then, return to attacking me, 'cause I enjoy it. This is offensive to women, and also to men, and then even more to women because men were trying to co-opt their offense in that clause. And then there’s that phrase “punch line.” It implies violence, and that’s no laughing matter. It appalls me that our society is so desensitized to violence that we’re willing to use terms like this and without paying attention to their implications. Was it a “punch line” when the settlers used violence and disease to take this country away from Native Americans?
