No cop shoots at a car, especially an “over-trained” one. ---

I think the Omaha newspaper stories are currently behind a paywall but see this: No adult court for teen shot at by cops - [Omaha.com](http://Omaha.com) Teens lucky to be alive after police fire 25 times - [Omaha.com](http://Omaha.com) "what basically happened was three white teen girls from a very well off catholic school were getting high in a place where the cops(just out of their rookie stint in the hood) would imagine it was thugs getting high. the cops rush the girls in the car, flash guns, the teen girls do what teen girls do best, freak the fuck out, and the driver tries to flee. A good reaction to staring at a gun IMO. one cop uses his body to try to block the way out, and he ends up on the hood of the car. the police shoot 25 times and hit the car 6 times. they could have killed all three girls who were smoking weed. the city was/is pissed something fierce." No it doesn’t. On a dark night, all the driver is going to see is bright lights and guns. Unless the cop’s badge is smashed against the driver’s side windshield, she probably isn’t going to notice anything that doesn’t scare her even more. ---
