Is anyone else reading this? I finished it at midnight last night. There is much creepiness in this book, both in the excellent writing and the illustrations.

Also featured on the site is Neil doing a reading from the book. I love hearing authors reading their work (and he has a lovely voice. )

I read it last week - it was recommended in the Resources for Young Adults class I took this summer.

Really good, but really creepy. Definitely an interesting read.  
You might also check out Nancy Farmer’s The House of the Scorpion - I liked it a lot (though the ending bugged me).
