what is the deal with the coreys? my roommate recently acquired the movie ‘the lost boys,’ which has both corey feldman and corey haim in it. she’s a big buff on the 80’s pop culture, but it should be noted we both missed out on that decade for the most part. anyway, she keeps talking about this corey phenomenon and how they were in all these movies together, it’s a cult dynasty, etc. what’s the deal? i did minor research (went on a website and looked at a few movie titles) and i couldn’t see any other movies they did together. why the infamous pairing? and why does everyone think corey feldman is hotter? ---

The Corey pairings that I could find: The Lost Boys License to Drive Dream a Little Dream Blown Away Last Resort Dream a Little Dream 2 Busted Of the group I only saw Lost Boys (which I liked) and License to Drive (which I thought was mediocre). I think the main thing about the two is that they were friends IRL after making the Lost Boys and managed to cruise on the success of that movie for a while. ---

Haim and Feldman were into drugs bigtime, multiple arrests for both of them. Feldman has been to rehab at least a half dozen times, but he seems to finally have cleaned and sobered up. Haim hasn’t been so lucky. Apparently a few years back he went into a pawn shop in Hollywood and pawned some jewelry which he used to score some coke/heroin and then after the drugs and money were gone went back to the pawn shop and begged the owner for $2 so Haim could get a slice of pizza.:eek: Now **that** is pathetic. Haim apparently still has a drug problem, which of course he denies.:rolleyes: ---

::Harli fans herself just thinking about the Coreys:: I was a _HUGE_ fan of the Coreys back when I was in elementary school. Me and my best friend in grade five even started a club. She preferred Mr. Haim. It was Mr Feldman who made my heart go all a-flutter. I even bawled my eyes out when my little sister, in a moment of rage, tore up the best picture of Corey Feldman, that I had pinned to my wall, taken from Tiger Beat. If anyone can find me a picture of him sitting with his knees up, arms crossed in front of his legs, wearing red socks, you will become my new best friend. _Dream A Little Dream_ is definitely the tops on my list. Then _Lost Boys_. The others don’t really matter. ---

Wasn’t singer Corey Hart big at the same time? I vaguely remember a Simpsons episode where Lisa was in love with Coreys of all kinds and ran up a huge phone bill calling the “Corey hot line” which was a recording of “Things that rhyme with Corey.” ---

I wear my suuunglasses at night… Yes, I was a child of the '80s and succumbed to Corey fever. Apparently out of the blue women all over the Western hemisphere decided to name their male children “Corey” and then God decreed that only guys named Corey should become minor celebrities for a few years, and then no more Coreys should be born. ---
