Every time this thread resurfaces, I read the whole thing, thinking maybe I’ll finally get why “Did the Corinthians ever write back?” is a joke. No luck so far…

The bible,king james, shows them has 2 letters,really doesn’t matter, the lessons  
and messages in them are what matters.  
My guess at the answer to the joke,is not in corinthians,its what Ted and Mary  
think is a joke,they might think, is the Scarlet letter read? a joke.  
letter humor, why more comedians don’t use it?
