Anybody else watching the show? I hesitated about whether to put this in Politics or Cafe Society. I certainly won’t be pledging my loyalty to the man. But I am interested in seeing the symbols chosen to accompany his investiture. ---

It always sickens me to see “Christian” leaders wearing jewels like that. I know that they would argue that the amethyst is a symbol of sobriety. But I feel certain the Nazarene would have sold those stones to feed some children. ---
