I like how they’ve got mics on all the church leaders and the mic colours match the garments. And they have two microphones each - it’s not like a Production Assistant can run on and adjust one if it breaks or starts rubbing on clothing and making noises. ---

UK I believe are the last ones in Europe that go through this whole megillah. And yes, the magical mystical bits they pretend to take seriously do sound just utterly bonkers. But they are great for a laugh. And they seem to have pinched Queen C’s hair with the crown, she had to reach up and adjust. ---

We think you’re very British and if ya’ll hadn’t had an actual coronation with the costumes, pomp, and circumstance we would have been disappointed and asked “Where is Britain and what have you done with it?” We do honestly expect this sort of thing from you folks, that’s why you make substantial tourist dollars from visitors watching the blokes in funny hats stand at attention or march about at Buckingham Palace and The Tower. And, as far as “global events” go, it’s a relief to see something that _isn’t_ about a disaster or people doing horrible things to each other. Sure, there’s stuff to quibble about and some ugly history, but there’s nothing wrong with sitting back and enjoying the show in the very best Medieval cosplay anywhere in the world - bonus points for the Medieval stuff being, you know _actually Medieval_. ---
