[He went to the doctor a few days ago](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/may-we-have-a-new-mini-rant-thread/941217/291) and got a confirmed diagnosis. While he’s too sick to object, @JaneDoe42 is adopting a very cute Maine Coon kitten.
