Coronavirus (COVID-19) conspiracy theory

We are going round in circles here. I stand by what I’ve posted, but don’t intend to add anything at this time.

China Says Wuhan Market not Origin of COVID-19

Note: the virus not coming from the market does not necessarily imply that it did come from the lab. But to the extent that your main argument against the lab is that “there’s evidence” that it came from the market, then ruling out the market changes things.

Rather lengthy and technical article from Nicholas Wade in which he makes the case that the “lab escape” theory is the more likely of the competing explanations on various technical/scientific grounds.

Also, that the list of people who had reason to cast doubt on this possibility is/was not limited to the Chinese government, but also includes various leading scientists who were involved with funding the bat-coronavirus research at the Wuhan lab, and more generally, much of the scientific community which supports this type of research as a general matter even if not involved with this specific lab.

Before I waste any time actually reading that, is this the same Nicholas Wade who wrote: A Troublesome Inheritance: Genes, Race, and Human History?

If yes, I’ll pass and just assume that it’s garbage, with a racist slant to boot.

Yes. This is not a nutso theory. But all the investigations have said that is not the case.

There are nutso CT- this is not one of them, but this one is simply wrong.

See for yourself:

Same guy. I’ll pass as I think we’ve discussed the various opinions of the “race scientists” of the world more than enough already in the past. So, I’ll stick with the assumption that it is indeed garbage, and likely has a racial tinge to the stink as well.

I wonder what Charles Murray and Steve Sailer have to say about the origins of COVID. No, actually, I don’t.
