Well, thanks to all who’ve replied; this has been more comprehensively answered than I could have hoped. I think I’ve got my correlated sequence working satisfactorily now. And many thanks to **Omphaloskeptic** for the full background maths. That formatting must have taken ages; I really appreciate it.
