Really, i do. So far this year i have: given up smoking, stoppped drinking during the week and i’m successfully losing weight (24lbs so far - throw flowers!), joined the gym and go three times a week. I am therefore in serious need of a vice for fear of becomming a deathly dull smug bastard and i need suggestions from the degenerate dopers. Help me be the bad person i know i truly am… ---

I would suggest going completely ga-ga over Hentai. It’s extremely bizarre, and extremely twisted… makes the Marquis de Sade look as sexually pure as the Pope. If that doesn’t work for you, join a local theatre group and I guaran-damn-tee that you’ll have at least a half-dozen new vices going for you. ---

Well, BDSM is popular on the boards. Have you thought of exposing yourself on subways? Then there’s the always popular kiddie porn. If you insist on something that won’t get you arrested, you might consider developing a foot fetish. Departing from sex (why?), you could follow cop cars around with a video camera. They like that. Buy lots of comic books, as expensive as drugs and you can read them again. You might try nose picking also, I believe that qualifies as a vice. Have you considered smoking crack? That would be the definitive vice. I think Abe Lincoln said “A man (or woman) without vices is a man without vurtues.” ---

Francesca…I know what it’s like. I’m also on a hardcore diet and did briefly quit smoking-and as soon as this pack’s gone I’m going on the patch. Lately for me it’s a combo platter of the fuckbuddy and cybersex. Last night I had Joe over-down Shelby!-and after he left which was about 7pm cst I started a session of cybersex with someone who will go unnamed. _sigh_ I didn’t mean for this to turn into a flirt thread. I know i’m no fun, but other than discussing my breasts in the above-mentioned threads, i try not to discuss my seckshual behaviour. But, ideally, a good vice should cost a ton of money, take every second of your free time, alienate you from your family and be so completely addictive that you are thinking about it whenever you are not doing it.
