I think there were at least two Leias at the comic-con we went to a couple of weekends ago. It might not be the most popular, but it certainly seems to be retaining popularity.
I have to say, as a 43 year old geek, I loved watching all the people dressed up at the comic-con. I don’t think I’ll be going much further than the light blue t-shirt and black pants I was wearing to have my picture taken with Leonard Nimoy, but good for the rest of the people who put so much time and effort into their outfits.
I was frightened by how many Leias I saw lining up to take a picture with the giant Jabba the Hutt statue at San Diego ComiCon '07.

My daughter is going in character to Connecticon this summer. I am going to wear my comic-book character tee-shirts.
When you get to my age, comfort outweighs cool.
