Don’t know about cats, but the cost to have our dog’s anal glands surgically removed was $150. The dog had a real problem, and yes I knew how to express them.

Somewhere in the neighborhood of $10-15 (I don’t do the invoicing, so I don’t keep up with the pricing) for a straightforward anal gland expression. There’s usually an extra charge if we have to shave around the ass or do wound cleaning or antibiotic infusion on an abscess.
