I’m assuming here that the underlying philosophy of vegetarianism is to avoid suffering by animals to feed humans. Therefore, the OP’s premise is that if the meat did not cause suffering, can a vegetarian eat it?
Personally, I don’t think vegetarians are sane, therefore logic is useless.
