Don’t forget a good quality helmet! The auto darkening ones are well worth the extra money. I hated welding till I borrowed a friends electronic helmet now I look for reasons to drag it out!
Seconded - the auto-darkening helmet was the best investiment I made in our welding setup. It makes things much, much easier and faster.
