# Could Nature Cause a Spill Like the Current BP Spill?

What I mean is this:  
Below the ocean floor there’s vast pockets of oil, could some earthquake or shift of the plates cause a gusher of oil the size of the BP spill to come out naturally?  
(without any mad-made assistance)
