As I recall, we here on the SDMB used to have a lot of fun, back in the day, when we said, “Cecil said it, I believe it, that settles it.” It’s not so funny now, especially when the MAGA/MAHA crowd takes it up: “Trump [or Kennedy] says it, I believe it, that settles it.” Vaccines, Tylenol, who-knows-what is next? Pepto-Bismol? Tums? Rolaids? ---
