# Could someone spoil "Mama Mia!" for me?

…There’s no dignified way to put this, so I’ll just ask it; Can someone _please_ tell me how the Abba musical “Mama Mia!” ends? I’d really appreciate it.

Wow, I was dragged to this by my disco-lovin’ mama about a month and a half ago, and I already don’t remember the ending. I’m sure it was happy and involved singing lots of ABBA.

Explain why you need it spoiled. :dubious:

Same here. I saw it when it first opened in London in '99. Don’t remember the ending. The daughter got married of course but did she find out which of the three men is her dad? Don’t remember that part. You don’t go to a performance of Mamma Mia for the plot.

I had a great time, though.

The mom got married to the first guy (the divorced one), the daughter didn’t get married, she and the boyfriend just took off to do some fun stuff instead. She didn’t find out which of the guys was her real dad, they just sort of decided it didn’t matter, they’d all treat her as a daughter - so she gets three dads.

Then there was the Mini Concert were they all dressed up in the left over clothes from the Sgt. Pepper Movie and re-did songs that they already did once. I got dragged to this by the in-laws. Pure crap. When I told my Dad I was going he simply said, “Those songs sucked 25 years ago. Why would you go to that?” He was right.
