Could the Montana National Guard take down that balloon?

I started a new thread in MPSIMS abouthow I think these could be balloons launched by civilians for fun and entertainment.

The 'new' influx of smaller balloons

My mundane, pointless thing is that these balloons have been flying over US airspace for years. I expect we will find that they will be mostly set adrift by people who want to see how high their balloon can go and get nice pictures of the earth from the attached cameras

Not sure if I can or should promote that, but its gotten zero responses.

Probably because its pointless…or maybe just a stupid idea.
