Please be specific. She will drop in _ **a** _ ball, not _the_ ball. The traditional Waterford crystal will slide down the pole atop One Times Square without any additional grease. ---

Just out of curiosity - the article linked to in the OP says that this “Snooki” person is “pint-sized”. Is she really exceptionally tiny? ETA: As a good Doper, I decided to do my own legwork. [Jersey Shore’s Snooki](http://www.skinnyvscurvy.com/celebrity-weight-measurements/jersey-shores-snooki-110-pounds-49-kg-cookie-diet.html) Is 110 Pounds (49 kg) 4’9” / 149 cm, and I think that in the photo accompanying the information she has too much make-up. ETA2: Holy smokes! If that is also here in the second picture at the bottom of the page (pulling laundry bags in a laundromat), then she needs to shoot the paparazzo that took the second one. Not flattering at all. ---

No, that’s just what she looks like. God, I can’t believe I know who these people are. I believe the Paper of Record called her a “turnip”. ---
