# Could we get a button that takes us to the new post in a zombie thread?

Am I just (not) seeing things, or has the “View First Unread” link disappeared now? 😕

I finally learn something new, then it goes away?

It’s only on threads that SDMB thinks has something new for you.  
And by new, it means “posted since your last activity.”

I see it in this thread, for instance. But there was a movement to start changing the options just to confuse you…so… 🙂

So the problem isn’t a button that takes you to the first unread post, we have that. The problem is identifying a Zombie, something that we don’t have but which has been a long term issue.

You can go back to the thread list once you identify that the thread you’re interested in is a zombie and click on the arrow. But that’s a real pain if you open all threads in a new tab and go through the whole “New Posts” list before reading any.

And it’s back. It really is is confusing me! I think I need to stop learning things about this board. ☹
