I know this is already covered in GQ’s rules sticky, but it comes up often enough, and is important enough, that I think a sticky specifically on these issues might be helpful. if nothing else, it would make sure posters knew the rule even if they didn’t actually read the sticky contents. ---

The sticky is great, but you may want to lock it to avoid it turning into a discussion on some aspect of the issue. ---
