Even after every radio show this morning talking about it constantly, and it being front page news on every newspaper and web news site, and there being 14 thousand threads about it here, I STILL don’t know who the winner is. Please, could more threads be started stating who the winner is? Perhaps when there’s an even million, it might penetrate my steel-like cranium. Thanks in advance. ---

All I know is, I walked through the living room this morning, and there was _Good Morning America_ on the Tee-Vee and a _Survivor_ logo up there on the screen, and Bonzo sitting on the couch, and I said, “Oh, who won?” and he said, “Red Shirt”, and I said, “Oh,” and life went on. ---

Perhaps if the Survivor team had to indulge in cannibalism to weed out the weaker members and there were perils like sharks, pirhana(sp), and wild boars, the show would at least be entertaining. What would even be better is Jerry Springer and his guests in that mileu. ---

Hey Lynn— You’re not alone; I didn’t watch a single episode either! The whole idea sounded incredibly stupid, especially the whole “tribe” concept. And now they’re going to do a “Survivor” 2… A local TV station aired its 11 o’clock news from the home of a family that was having a “survivor party” to watch the last episode. They looked like idiots screaming at the television after they found out who won. ---

I only saw one episode, the climactic one. What I couldn’t believe was HOW FUCKING BORING AND ANNOYING IT WAS!!! And this was supposed to be the INTERESTING one. Too bad they couldn’t have used an island where they still have headhunters. ---

The tragic thing is, given the record ratings from the vast, mooing herds of American Cattle who religiously followed the show each week, this thing will take years to die off. At least until some New Sparkly Item catches the attention of the herd. ---

I dunno- I kinda like “Survivor”. Sure, _Eye of the Tiger_ gets overplayed but its a decent song and…whassthat? They’ve got their own TV show now? And they’re stuck on an island without drugs, hairspray, and groupies? That could be fun to watch… ---
