# Could you be Australian?

15/20. I know what Anzac day is, but some of the government questions were tricky. What happened in 1901?

Question 21: Why the hell did we use Flash for this?

A ) It is impossible to create such a web page any other way  
B ) Broadband is so cheap in Australia that everybody has a superfast link  
C ) We are idiots  
I got 20/20, largely because many of the answers were either blindingly obvious or the same as they would be for most other countries.

The answer is C.

Broadband is, at least compared to places like the US and UK, incredibly expensive and restrictive in Australia.

They could have done that quiz using very simple php, or something similar.

I got five of the first five, with one an outright guess (colours of the Australian Aboriginal flag). I didn’t continue the test because I don’t want to become and Australian citizen. I’ve seen the Mad Max movies; I know what it’s like down there.
