OK, here goes: The Embassy Suites has reservations under the RL names of the following people: **Superdude, Euty & Ms Robyn** The Doubletree hotel has reservations under the RL names of the following people: \*\* Shadowfox, CRorex, Zyada, ShibbOleth, Geobabe, Postmoderngirl, Jadis, Yojimboguy, Sophie, Typomna, and Anya Marie \*\* Doubletree rate is $59.00/nite. I know it was less expensive than when I forst posted, but at that time I thought it was only gonn be three or four rooms. Let me assure you, this is still a darn good rate for Chicago. For anyone who’s driving, e-mail me, I’ll see what I can do about parking arrangements. We should be able to figure something out. Huh, this morning I was blocked from MPSIMS because of the co’s firewall, but I’m back now. unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it down. Persephone, I am entrusting lno with the cd, and we’ll be meeting tomorrow for that. I can’t believe it’s not Friday yet. But I realized as I lay groggily in bed this a.m. that since Chicago is a different time zone that I’ll gain an hour on the way there (ok, I lose one on the way back plus the one we lose due to the time change) so I should be there an hour earlier than I’d originally planned without changing my schedule at all. And since I’ll start to get antsy to leave right after lunch on Friday I may even sneak out early. It helps that my boss appears to be on vacation this week. **Thanks!**! in advance to all of the ChiDoper’s helping to coordinate this! ---

Mostly for the not-only oh-so-pathetic attempt at juvenile humor, but the protracted lengths you went to in trying to bring it off, and then _still_ couldn’t manage it. And also for your beloved’s reaction. Believe me, **Bill** , I’m living it. I utter what I consider a _bon mot_, a witticism, a wry, pithy, ironic comment, something worthy of the Algonquin Round Table, and Mrs. Dave-Guy just gives me a “Right, whatever.” Doesn’t even skip a beat. Well, I for one knew exactly the [sub]bad[/sub] joke **UncleBill** was going for. Damn engineers. 😉 And I have some bad news for the under-age crowd for Saturday.
