Anyone happen to know if/when the Wild Goose (where dopers will observe fellow dopers making fools of themselves attempting the Mythical 10) cards? I imagine it’s incredibly scenic and such from the outside, but I’d rather not be limited to that. [sub]I am SO not going to miss being 20…[/sub] ---

In case you hadn’t noticed, **Jane** is a goddess. I checked the Doubletree site and they say they’ve got an indoor pool. In case anyone wants to go for a swim. Yahoo maps tells me it’s 313 miles door-to-door. And 7 hours. I don’t trust them, I’m sure I can do it in under 6 hours, hopefully 5, possibly 4.5. I plan to be in for dinner. Any recos for dinner nearby. Something Chicagoesque would be nice. And **Hamadryad** ’s post was funnier than anything in the “funny post contest”. Which just goes to show the best comedy is spontaneous and often unplanned. ---

I can attest to that myself, as we had our most recent mini-ChiDope there. I won’t miss being 20 either. 'Cept I haven’t hit 20 yet. ---

You can come whenever you want, but I’ve made reservations for 5:30, since it’s all you can eat Fish fry night and it gets fairly crowded. Some of us will be eating dinner there. j ---

**Miss Creant** , I’m pretty sure **weirddave** won’t be there, as he is in Canada this weekend. I think **Silver Fire** said she can’t make it, either. And I think there will be some folks that aren’t on the list - I haven’t been keeping track of late, sorry. So maybe a few extra blank tags? And thanks very much for putting the name tags together. ---

Well, i _ **do** _ drink, so perhaps I can get an early start on that. Kilts are still for Saturday only, right? ---

Turbo Dog isn’t going to make it either, though I’m tagging along with Crunchy Frog and am going to have to make it a budget trip for myself. We should get there late Friday night. Time to do some laundry. ---

I don’t think I’m gonna be able to make it. I’ve got what seems like a real nasty bronchial infection and I’ve been coughing my lungs out the last couple of days. I’ll be there if I can, but at this point I doubt it. Have a good time, y’all. Zanshin ---

Are kilts becoming the official menswear of Dopefests (as cleavage-wear is for women), or is it only you and **UncleBill**? And **Tequila** , I was just wondering about you and **Turbo**. Glad you, at least, can come - maybe if there is another Spiffled, I’ll get to see you both.
