Stay far away from the Sheffield. Bunnygirl and I were sharing a room for the August ChiDope and in the middle of the night, somebody rattled the doorknob of our room and started banging on the door. Bunnygirl slept right through it (she was pretty ripped that night), but I just about crapped my pants. Needless to say, I did not sleep at all that night. It was sunrise before I was finally able to fall asleep. It really made me wish that we had taken up thinksnow’s and Superdude’s offer to share the room because they could have gotten up and scared off the would-be intruders, plus I probably would have felt safer with two big, strong men in the room. ---

Hey Persephone, got your email, too. It looks fairly promising that I will make it, though I need to clear things with work (and some financial slight of hands), but I hope to be in town. I ended up shaving my head and grew a beard like a billy goat, which I tried to dye orange, to no avail. you know, I really don’t know how to justify going, and I certainly don’t know how to justify not going. I did my taxes, and although i am getting a pittance back from the fed, somehow I owe the state 30x more than my fed refund.
