**[HP Marathon](http://www.hphoustonmarathon.com/index.php) & Halliburton International Half Marathon Details**

Date - Sunday, January 18, 2004. 7am.

Countdown: 2 months, 17 days to go.

This’ll be my first marathon. My winter training’ll start soon, so that wil mean I’ll get to focus on longer distance running, away from the 5k stuff.

Is there anyone else planning on being there?

I hope they’ll be giving out free t-shirts at the end. 🙂

Turns out there’ll be two free t-shirts in the race. One for showing up, and another just for finishing it. Hot damn.
