Country music star Morgan Wallen was caught on video using the offensive slur on Sunday night. I’m not interested in pursuing what happened 50 years ago, and I suspect most of country music isn’t either. I am pleased to see that the N-word is no longer acceptable in the greater community around that genre. I doubt this will destroy his career forever, but this is not his first act of misbehavior and it’s going to take more than an “I’m sorry” to fix this. I expect in a few years he’ll be back, but taking a hit in his finances and career is what will teach him that this is absolutely not acceptable and will serve as an example to others. ---

Yup, it’s not a 100% correlation but it’s probably 90+% between anti-maskers into country music and racists. Zero surprise here. ---
