After reading this comment, I had to go back and check how old this couple were.
They’re 32—which arguably still counts as “young adults,” but old enough to know better.

Meh. Must have been a slow news day. Not a week goes by we don’t take a report of someone breaking off a piece where they shouldn’t be. During fairs the park cops always find couples doing an actual “roll in the hay” right next to a smelly old cow and her turds. The most common is sex in vehicles outside of taverns and night clubs.

Yeah a prohibition of “lewd acts” would likely make it illegal, but may be difficult to prove.

And hen there is the catch all of Disorderly Conduct or Disturbing the Peace. Extremely broad statutes that can be used for a lot of issues that don’t quite fit other laws.
