Actually, when they brought in Oliver Babish, they explained what happened to Lionel Tribbey (he left to do something else… I forgot what, and it made no sense considering he was so into “duty” for the 5 minutes we saw him) but there was actually an explanation. Ainsley, Oliver, and Mandy, should have collectable milk cartons. ---

It’s generally well-written and well-acted, but there are characters and subplots that seem to just . . . disappear sometimes. I realize the convention is to use that character or subplot to make a point, but on a show that seems to strive to maintain some form of continuity (they _are_ attempting to portray a single presidential administration in a more-or-less conventional timeline), they do appear to leave a lot of loose ends.
