Mandy’s hanging out somewhere with Ainsley Hayes, Lionel Tribbey, and Oliver Babish.
But many fans applauded this Pinochet’s Chile-like disappearance of Mandy very heartily.
That was one annoying character.
Maybe they all joined Mrs Landingham’s carpool.
Actually, when they brought in Oliver Babish, they explained what happened to Lionel Tribbey (he left to do something else… I forgot what, and it made no sense considering he was so into “duty” for the 5 minutes we saw him) but there was actually an explanation. Ainsley, Oliver, and Mandy, should have collectable milk cartons.
This is the one thing that annoys me a little about the show. It’s generally well-written and well-acted, but there are characters and subplots that seem to just . . . disappear sometimes. I realize the convention is to use that character or subplot to make a point, but on a show that seems to strive to maintain some form of continuity (they are attempting to portray a single presidential administration in a more-or-less conventional timeline), they do appear to leave a lot of loose ends.
