> [@kopek](#): > > Close to explode. Now after all these years I’ve known three pieces to shatter; all three were room temp and from the cupboard. I wrote it off to being like a tempered glass or modern windshields but I could very well be wrong about that. So much for my heat theory. ---

Happy Thosrday! It’s a cool 55 degrees and rainy outside. My brain isn’t working properly this morning. I think that means BLURF! ---

> [@carnivorousplant](#): > > So much for my heat theory. Yeah. You could say I am so ashamed of myself it went up in flames. It was actually so cold a dreary today that I didn’t go shooting. I could have used one of the indoor ranges but I really prefer to avoid that when I can. ---

Safe travels **Bumba and Midget**. **Midget** keep us posted on the flooding. > [@swampbear](#): > > New terlet is installed! No, I will not put up pics. Show some decorum folks. SHEESH! 😃 No decorum. I want pics! 😃 I’m approaching a full week with no food. I guess Gatorade and water can keep you going for a long time. It’s still annoying. I did try an Ensure yesterday, hoping I could manage at least that much. Nope. Up all night. My dear husband offered to get the kids off to school when I was stumbling back to bed at 5 am after yet another trip to the loo. He’s a sweetie. I have sent an email off to the doc about what else I should do. It doesn’t seem healthy to me to drink only water and gatorade for 2 weeks, but what do I know. Happy Thursday all. ---

If y’all just _must_ know, my new terlet looks like [this.](https://www.faucetdirect.com/american-standard-215da-104-cadet-pro-round-front-two-piece-toilet-with-everclean-surface-and-powerwash-rim/p1951162?source=msn-pa_1951162_9101158663_american%20standard%20highboy%20toilet&s_kwcid=AL!3775!10!9101158663!4582558306154582&ef_id=WKQ37QAAAKnjAej5:20170511212033:s). I spent some quality time out at the cee-mint pond. First time this season. Water is still a bit chilly but nice once I got used the temp. Now to contemplate dindin. Maybe a grilled ham 'n cheese sammich. ---

I returned the defective record player to BB&B - easy-peasy - then we went to Red Robin for a burger. Now we’re home, vegging the night away. Indoor chores tomorrow. Rah. ---

Have a safe trip **bumba**. Be careful heading to the flooded area **emily**. When Corelle was still fairly new, my aunt got a set. My cousin was showing my sister and I that they could be dropped from a height and let one go from a 7 year old on a kitchen stool level. It shattered on the kitchen floor (in her defense, they lived in a slab built house, so there was concrete pretty much right under the linoleum). My day had its ups and downs. I did manage to find about $10K worth of product but still have another $7K that I’m looking for. To top it off, I wound up apologizing for certain members of my department to the leadership of another. And then I got a bunch of crap from the cow-orker I wish would retire already when I asked questions about some work of hers from last month. I’m all for reasonable accomodation, but not even taking avantage of that and just saying _I can’t / won’t so it because I’m old_ is a crock. Right now, the other guy and I are filling two positions until our coordinator can be back filled and having to redo her work isn’t helping. \ ---
