Firstly, every song Emmylou Harris has ever covered.

Secondly, Springsteen’s version of _Chimes Of Freedom._

Thirdly, June Tabor and the Oysterband’s versions of Richard Thompson’s _Night Comes In_ and the Velvet’s _All Tomorrow’s Parties._ They’ve covered _Love Will Tear Us Apart_ on their new album together, I’ve heard it once on the radio, but I’ll need to hear it again to decide on it’s brilliance.

ETA: Fourthly, Nico’s version of The Door’s _The End._

The Dickies cover of Moody Blues - Nights in White Satin

Nena’s cover of David Bowie’s Spaceman

Primus’s cover of Pink Floyd’s Have a Cigar

They all put their own unique spin on the songs in a brilliant way.

Oops, Starman, not Spaceman.
